Three Sisters Plantation is geographically only a few KM from the popular town of Ahangama - with its surfing beaches & myriad of fashionable coffee bars and restaurants - & yet emotionally it could be a million KM away.

Perched on a small hill above a private lake this working plantation grows tea, cinnamon, pepper & coconuts.

There are three beautiful suites furnished with the care & attention to detail that you might expect at a villa of this standard.

From each of them the views over the pool, manicured gardens, lake, cultivated rice fields & jungle are wide, varied & abundant with bird life.

All have their own private seating terraces.
The master bedroom enjoys a wrap around private balcony that overlooks the main pool. It is accessed via the indoor sitting room & across stepping stones over a lotus pond.

Below this, on the ground floor is the Guest Suite with French windows leading out to the pool deck & an indoor / outdoor bathroom.

The 3 rd suite is set slightly apart from the other two & is uniquely housed in its own pavilion. It comes with a private terrace & plunge pool that overlooks the lake, gardens & distant jungle.

The main sitting & dining pavilion is a large open plan, open sided area that commands the top of the hill with inspiring views in every direction.

There is a large, comfortable & beautifully furnished indoor sitting room that is as perfect for reading & quiet conversation as it is for gathering before dinner. To one side of this sitting room is an ensuite study into which a single bed can be made for a 7th person.

The Plantation is a wonderfully secluded and peaceful place where you will see and hear an endless variety of tropical birds along with monkeys playing in nearby trees and see buffalo wallowing in the adjacent rice paddy.
