Skye House is a grand & fun family villa, only 10km from the historic Galle Fort.

There are four luxury en-suite suites, one with an extra bed, plus a child’s bunk room, sleeping up to 8 adults + 8 children.

Seconds from the luscious L-shaped pool adjoining the house you walk out through swaying coconut trees and onto the spectacular, super soft sand of Habaraduwa beach. The clever and generous design of the house boasts an extensive and very accommodating range of living space.

On entering Skye House, from the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns, the pace of life immediately slows down. Arriving through large wooden gates, you are instantly greeted by two lion fountains and a fantastic purple pond full of carp & other fish.

On your left is the immaculate and well-equipped kitchen. Marbled stone work tops, white washed walls and stripy breakfast stools, make this a very striking and inviting breakfast or children’s dining area.

There is a large open plan sitting / dining room with a bar in one corner. The glass & timber doors fold back to reveal the lovely lawn - suitable for croquet, football, & cricket - & of course the beach.

There are two suites on the ground floor. One of these faces the covered dining space by the pool whilst the other has large glass doors facing the garden, beach & ocean. Both are ensuite & come with air con as well as over head fans.

Facing the pond, by the stairs, is the TV room with large L shape sofa.

Above the TV room up the wooden stairway is a children’s bunk room with six beds & a single bed. Three painted stools, small paintings and a cosy rug create a child-friendly atmosphere. An en-suite stretches the length of the room complete with a shower.

Outside of the children's bedroom, on the wide landing is the pool table.

Head south along the landing, elevated over the inner courtyard pond, to an alluring & sensational sea view from the beach front of the house. The veranda stretches for the entirety & either side are the two updates master suites both with inviting ocean views.

The suite on the right comes with a four poster bed, lovely antique furniture and a Narnia inspired wardrobe. The spacious en suite bathroom has twin sinks, a Victorian bath, that when in you can still see out to sea, & a separate shower.

The other bedroom on this level is another magnificent room with garden, pool and ocean views. It comes with a king 4 poster and en-suite bathroom with a shower granting ocean beach & views.
