Ivory House is located a few km from Galle. It is slightly elevated overlooking rice fields. A blend of Dutch colonialism and modern living with 4 double bedroom suites the house is a gentle oasis. The master suite, with lovely views across the garden & rice fields has a bath tub & shower whilst the other 3 ensuite bathrooms have indoor / outdoor showers.

The house comes with a full team of staff including a chef, steward & housekeeper to look after you.


There is an open plan kitchen & the house has 3 dining options. Adjacent to the kitchen is a long rectangular with bench seating. A round table is in the corner of the verandah with views across the garden towards the pool & rice fields. The 3rd option is a round table in the pool side pavilion.

Featured in several ‘house and garden’ table books it is a cool and welcoming retreat from the hustle & bustle of beach life. The nearest beach is approx 15 mins by Tuk Tuk.

Set in approx 1 acre of manicured gardens the pool and pool side pavilion are easily visible from the house but set slightly apart.
