For many years tourism was seen purely for its economic benefit without much attention given to its impact. Recently however, more and more people are becoming aware of the harmful effects of over-tourism.  

We believe tourism can remain a force for good by inviting visitors to appreciate and understand another culture and way of thinking, as well as encouraging hosts to look beyond our own shores for skills and habits. Responsible tourism fosters an exchange of ideas and encourages communication. These are the positives of tourism and for them to flourish, visitors and hosts need to be responsible for and respectful of their environment.
